23-11-2024I used this as screen to keep birds from building a nest in an attic vent. This screen is of good quality.

> 3 dayVery tough stainless steel mesh. Can’t be cut with tin snips or wire snips. Can be trimmed with a cut off wheel. This material ended up being perfect for EMI shielding, enclosing a muffin fan opening within a chassis.

> 3 dayThis is such a well made piece of mesh, and really helps when I’m working in my studio. I make tiny things that need to dry after paint, glue or just about anything that requires drying or curing time. Very nice size and fair price for the quality. I’m happy.

Greater than one weekWhy is it I never have basics like a metal mesh around when I need it? Such is life; a small, overactive rodent with sharp teeth decides to take up residence in my garage. Do I have mesh to resolve and patch the hole it chewed? No, and neither did four local hardware stores, but Amazon did. The Good: The mesh arrived lickety-split in a solid, cardboard sleeve to prevent bending or punctures. Whoever I owe the thanks of a clever package, thank you. My large square came flat and protected. Its a solid hunk of metal mesh that doesnt weigh much and thwarts rodents of unusual size down to adults trying to figure out how to nail or screw this thing in. You need metal snips to really cut this thing; dont try shears or kitchen scissors. Once you cut the shape you want, its easy to apply if you have the right tools. The Bad: It wasnt already in my drawer. Literally none so far; its holding up well and I have not seen any evidence of rust or teeth getting through. The Verdict: If you have need for a solid, not very flexible mesh, this one is a solid contender for your project.

> 3 dayExactly as described. I am going to cut and use in the silverware section of our dishwasher. The bottom of one of the silverware plastic bins broke. I am going cut pieces of mesh to fit in the bottom of the compartments/bins so I dont have to purchase a replacement from KitchenAid for $150.

> 3 dayFirst I have to comment on all the reviews that said it was hard to bend, heres a hint, clamp the side and width you wish to bend between to pieces of wood and then gently hammer or roll the edge over to whatever degree you need. Second hint you need to make sure your hands are protected with sturdy leather gloves, not cloth as the ends are sharp and will poke thru cloth gloves. I am using this in the bottom of a charcoal grill to keep the ceramic briquets from falling thru the wide grill bars in the bottom of the BBQ, I dont now how long it will last as the grid gets (color) red hot and ive only done this a few times. But other than this and other than looking for something heavier in wire gauge I am satisfied.
