Greater than one weekMetal is too thin and bends. Used the 2.5 to make a hole in 1 plywood and saw shank bent making the saw teeth not flat against the board. Then the shank ripped through the flat portions that keep the saw from rotating around the shank, becoming useless. I didnt even finish the first hole I was cutting. Next up I tried putting the drill bit in the small arbor to use the 1 hole saw. The set screw sticks out enough to interfere with the locking nut making everything uneven and unbalanced. Totally useless.

> 3 dayThe set that I already owned didnt have the size that I needed, so I purchased this set. My only complaint is that where the stamp is that displays the size was so shallow on some of them that I had to get my measuring tape out to determine the size. Other than that, it worked perfectly.

> 3 dayThis is a pretty good set of hole saws. The price is right and the quality of the components are good.

> 3 daySo I bought this product - gasp - to drill holes. There are two shanks, one of which is for the larger saws, and one for the smaller saws. The larger one works okay. The smaller one is utter and complete, well, fertilizer. So the way it works is this: the little drill bit has an indentation on it. You stick the drill bit into the shank, and then tighten down a little allen screw to hold the drill bit in. But the allen screw isnt flush to the surface of the shank. This leads to two problems. The first is that the allen screw is softer than a babys bottom. Any pressure at all and it just strips out. The second problem is that you cant slide the saw down over the shank when the allen screw is protruding. So what you end up with is a drill that you can only barely make work, if at all. Its garbage. Utter and complete garbage. I tried to think of ways to get around the problem and I managed to make the holes I needed. Its really not well suited for the kind of plastic I had to drill into - it seemed to actually melt the plastic and bunch it up around the edge. That was easily fixed with a file, so that one is just a lesson learned. But the fact that it has zero durability and is pretty much unfit for purpose is a deal breaker. Im probably going to order a better set and run over this one with a truck. With this kind of durability, no way will it damage the tires.

Greater than one weekBought these since the set I had was missing a size or two. Used it to cut into some very dense plywood using my drill. It got hot enough to smoke so I had to stop and let it cool a few seconds and use a wire brush to remove the wood that got stuck on the teeth, but after a couple of bites it made it through each time. No warping or damage to teeth after drilling about a dozen holes. I also liked this one because it came with one drill bit for all the hole saws, unlike another set I returned where some of the hole saws only fit the larger drill bit which was too big for my 3/8 drill.

> 3 dayI uses this on sheets of plywood and I struggle to get the 2 and 2 1/4 pieces apart. I have used it on fir and I think maple. It seems like it struggles to cut through a little bit but the maple it actually split some of it on the backside so it looks bad. Luckily I will be covering it in carpet so it wont be seen but I still had to touch it up so the carpet doesnt get cut up. Overall gets the job done but wouldnt buy it for any specialized projects or anything fancy.

> 3 dayI bought this to cut holes in my mirror so that I can put lights threw it in the back to make a vanity and I thought my mirror was wood and it was not wood it was plastic! and it worked on plastic I drilled 20 wholes about 2 inches wide and the Mirror did not break! great Product and I’m excited about it because it comes with different sizes so I’ll definitely be using it again and the price is great you go to Home Depot and just for one of the adapted sizes you have to give $40 not including the thing that needs to connect to the drill so this is a great buy. also are used it on wood to practice like a plain thick wood and it totally works that’s how I practice before I did it on the actual mirror.

Greater than one weekIve rated only 2 stars because there were NO instructions from the seller/manufacturer, Ryker. Seems to be an issue, because theres nothing on their website either (in fact, there are complaints about... no instructions. Now, I LOVE puzzles. But not when Im trying to figure out how to put together drill bits. Im new to using hole saw sets... I figured it out eventually (the drill bit must be switched over for the 1 hole (the only hole size that needs to switch, far as I can tell. Why not just put a bit on that size as well so as to not have to mess with the tiny hex wrench? Dumb plan on their part...cheap). Will update once I give them a try... I posted this because I just wasted my time trying to figure out WTH.

> 3 dayIm confused on the negative comments. For the price, what do you want? Ive probably have two or three of these drill sets over the years. Why I keep losing them I have no idea, but this set is every bit as good or better. I had a lot of holes to cut and the first cut was as smooth as the last. As a suggestion, dont ever smoke them. Take your time cutting the holes, pulling out the blade and blowing out the sawdust a few times. Takes a few seconds more but a lot less wear and tear. I have no problem with the quality.

Greater than one weekThe pilot hole drill will not get through anything at all, it failed to make a hole through MDF. One of the larger diameter saws bent out of shape on the first use drilling some MDF. The metal used for the drills is complete garbage, yeah its cheap but for a bit more you could get something a lot nicer that actually lasts a single use.
