10 PIECES XFITTING 1/2 PEX X 1/2 PB (POLYBUTYLENE) SPLICING COUPLING WITH RING, REPAIR KIT, BRASS

These PB to PEX adapters work great for running new PEX lines in a house with polybutalyne pipes.

Works as it should. Was able to make my repair with no leaks.

I was replacing polybutylene pipes underneath the house but there were a couple of lines that went they a maze throughout the house so I wanted to replace with PEX right up to the point where these went up into the house leaving the last few feet as polybutylene. This product worked great allowing me to connect my new PEX to the old polybutylene. Also, they kept these together with cable ties making it easy to keep the adapter connections together. They would have been easily lost had they not been cable tied together.

Worked as designed to do.

good but I needed two crimp rings (on the polybutylene side) to assure leak free.

Heads Up! I bought these for my DIY faucet repair. They are for Poly to Pex fitment and the ends of brass insert are specific to type of pipe being used. One end has more grooves than the other end. I got 9 that were correct. But one was for Pex to Pex! If I had not noticed the difference? BIG Problem!
