what was I expected

Nice, thick packing paper. Didnt tear when wrapping up dishes and whatnot. We only moved a few miles away so I could actually pack up dishes, unpack, and reuse to go back and pack up more.

Paper quality is fine. I use it for shipping, so I have very accurate scales. The package is short 1/4 lb. And the labeling is different than the photo (not a big deal). I just find it irritating that the distributor of this product is shorting every shipment by this amount. It adds up.

Really good quality. I purchased this to stuff purses with in my retail store.

Very nice for my packing needs. No complaints and I had to pack in a hurry.

Just what you need. And you can tear it easily and evenly if you go with the grain--perfectly straight with no scissors. Easy peasy. And you get a lot for the price you pay.

Nice to have on hand when packing up my house for a move.

It does what it is supposed to.

Best paper EVER. I couldnt seem to find old newspaper like back in the day. This is much better quality wise and I love it. Feels like a blessing to have. I recommend it
