To the Manufacturer,,, There were 101 Chrome Steel balls in the container. You may add one extra, but I will gladly return the 1 extra, if you wish. Yes, I did count them, Twice. ; )

Iron balls, polished to the finest - who does not want those?

Yes, they rust and not necessarily with wear. I placed one in a glass with a small amount of water and by the third day the ball bearing had rusted. Which is very disappointing because I bought 200. I had planned to put them in my acrylic paint and nail polish that I use like paint. I was misled by this answer No, unless getting into contact with corrosive material like salt etc. They are made from stainless steel. By Tom on December 13, 2015

I bought two of these and Im almost out of them, and havent had a problem with any of the bikes. Ive used them in both bottom brackets and wheel hubs.

There is always difficulty assembling and disassembling bicycle bearings and bearings are invariably lost. This pack of 100 is just what I needed - plus it replaced a collection of worn bearings.
