If it werent for the cost, this is absolutely great. But I can get good enough elsewhere, not quite the quality (I looked at some side by side under a magnifier and this was VERY uniform in size, the other not as much), but quite a bit cheaper by weight. Needless to say, I didnt notice a difference in the finish on stainless steel but you MIGHT on plexi or softer plastics. Lexan or HDPE probably the same. If this is quick to get when I run out Ill buy it again.

I couldn’t verify the actual grit of the media as I just dumped it right in the blaster but it appears to be the same as other 100 grit media I have. The media is double bagged in the box and tied with a zip tie. I seem to have a moisture issue with my air but I didn’t find this to clump up in the gun. It would be nice if it were cheaper but since it’s weight that’s going by post and not from a store I suppose it makes sense.

Just was not satisfied with the grit. I ended up using stripper.

Media was great. Packaged well and wasn’t leaking when it got to my door. Using it in my blast cabinet for cerakote and it works great with a good etch profile on most metals.

Very good on scale rust. Make sure you use your PPE.

    Awesome for sandblasting.

#100 Aluminum Oxide is a fast, versatile and economical cutting abrasive. Aluminum Oxide is the second hardest mineral on Earth, second only to diamond. Aluminum Oxide can be used in wet and dry blasting applications for cleaning, deburring, etching and finishing. Aluminum Oxide is ideal for etching the surface of glass as it’s hardness is greater than glass. Aluminum Oxide won’t break down as fast as glass blasting media and has a longer cycle life than most blast media.
