Instead I just kept messing with it, here and there and over time wouldnt you know it - eventually it loosened up and the tool moves GREAT now! Its sturdy and for sure it will last me a long time. I little forwarning about the tool needing a break-in time before it worked efficiently would have been helpfu! TL;DR: Super tight & hard to move at first, but if you just stick with it it loosens up just the way it should and is a great little pipe tool!
