Greater than one weekI bought this to make a 200+lb dumbell for singe arm Kroc rows. This thing is the perfect length, and stronger than anything at the gym. I just bought a cheap bicycle grip for the center and it holds standard plates like it was made for them (I only use 10s and 5s). You can then use standard spring collars, or like me, get the standard lockjaw collars. Great for a Herculean home gym.

> 3 dayWould recommend, size was good price was good. Using as a trial for bowl gouge before using a higher carbon steel.

> 3 dayMy goof. It is as thin as a paper clip. I needed a steel ROD to keep an air conditioner from falling out of my odd shaped window.

> 3 dayI got the 1 inch diameter, 24 inch long 1018 carbon steel round rod. It measured just a hair over 24 inches long. And according to my calipers, its slightly over 0.999 in diameter. Perfect size. It does have a large UPC label, but unlike a previous review, the label was fairly easy to peel off. Using just my fingernail, I peeled it off mostly in one piece. There was some minor sticky residue and a shred of torn label left over, but I sprayed a little WD-40 on there and wiped it right off with a paper towel. It took about 2 minutes to get all traces of the label off with no damage to the bar. (This was in my freezing cold basement shop. I bet it would peel off easier if it was warm.)

> 3 dayRods were individually packed in plastic tubes. No rust, and they were straight. What more would you want? Welded nice with a basic flux gun.
