These are quality Kona cotton, but I guess I had not expected the white to be glowing-bleach-your-eyeballs almost bluish white. Perhaps with some washing they might be a less bright but neutral white. Otherwise quality stuff.

I have ordered this before and never had any trouble with packaging. I love having them on hand for embroidery squares. No cutting or measuring. I fold it in quarters to find the center, then center the design and stitch out on the embroidery machine. Then I just use an 8 or 9 inch template to cut the finished square to size. Ive used them for a number of projects. Currently a Christmas table square and soon a baby comforter.

When I opened the bag for this, the inside of the bag had a greasy film to it. I pulled out the bag with the squares and that bag was really disgusting. I do not know what the film or lotion is but is had a smell to it and now the squares also smell like this. I accidentally touched my lip and I have a disgusting taste in my mouth.
