> 24 hourExtremely small gauge wire, crappy alligator clips.

> 24 hourThese have worked great for me. The only complaint is that the little clip covers are slippery and sometimes slide back and off the clip. It can be frustrating at times, but at this price point I am very pleased. If I used these everyday I might want more expensive jumps for my primary set.

> 24 hourPros: The clips are about 35mm in length. Cons: The wires are not soldered to the alligator clips. They are not even crimped properly. The alligator clip is crimped around the wire insulation. The end of the wire is stripped and folded over. This is how the wire makes contact with the clip. This is a totally unreliable connection. The boot around the alligator clips are not smooth as in other test leads I have purchased. These feel uneven - almost seem like theyre worn. Definitely not 22 awg wire. It looks like a 24 or 26 awg.

> 24 hourTried using these leads to simply charge a 3.65V lithium battery from a power supply. At anything over 1A, the voltage drop was so high, they were unusable. The drop was nearly half a volt total using 2 leads...all of them are like this. Ive never seen test leads this poor. Low current/signal use only.

> 24 hourI didnt put much thought into this purchase. Theyre alligator clips - how can you screw that up?! Turns out, you can. The plastic covering the clips is very slick and slippery. When I try to open the clip, one of two things happens: The plastic cover slips off, or the clip simply twists beneath the cover. It requires a lot of fiddling and patience to get the clips open, and with even slightly sweaty or greasy fingers you can forget it. Even with the cover off its difficult to open them because the levers are tiny.
