12 inch Cameo Cutting Mat

The product didnt specify what the 12 inch replacement was for hence Im left feeling insecure and considering penile extension surgery ...

It was just as needed. Always work great for me. If they are too sticky, which they are at first, I just tap them lightly with a cloth. I wouldnt recommend using a fuzzy cloth though. I use like a cotton quilt fabric or a denim. But not too much. I also use a card stock on them more when they are new and use an older one for plain paper or it will be too sticky to use for plain paper. I keep the new ones for card stock and then when its not quite so sticky I keep the more used one for regular paper and then buy a new one again for the card stock and heavier papers.

I love my Silhouette Cameo machine, but I am not fond of the mats. It is very easy to have your setting wrong by accident and end up cutting through the mat. I have ruined many a mat like this. Also, they just charge to much money for the mats! I like the Cricut mats so much more. You can almost get 4 mats for the price of one silhouette mat and I think they last longer. They work with my silhouette cameo and they are far more durable. The Cricut mats seem more like cutting board quality (and I have never cut through them) where as the silhouette mats are flimsier. I will say I like that the silhouette mats are clear and the numbering of the grid on them is easier to see. To use your silhouette with a Cricut, I would just line up your old silhouette mat on top so you can see where to put the paper down to feed into the machine. (I line it up at the start of the shaded box for the top and about midway through the numbers on the left. And as other reviewer has mentioned, I highly recommend cleaning off with goo gone when the mat is no longer sticky to get remaining stickiness off and then resticking the mat with a spray adhesive like Krylon easy tack. I am sure the manufacturer does not recommend doing either of these things (restocking or using Cricut mats), and I am sure they would void warranties. That being said, I have been doing this for some time and have had no problems.

This mat is extremely sticky so takes a few uses before it gets to an even tackiness. Works excellent with my Silhouette machine.

I like this product for only Glitter HTV. It has a very strong hold I do a little bit of everything and I found that using it for HTV and Glitter HTV is perfect. Holds it in place perfectly but it sucks for paper. it will ruin your paper bc it has such a strong hold. Just throwing it out there. Definitely not the original mat silhouette sells.

Thank you for getting this to me so quickly! I love my Silhouette Cameo and I use it all of the time - which means I go through cutting mats too. I love that they are very reasonably priced and they work great too! If you make sure and scrape all of the small paper fragments off of the mat each time - it helps the mat stay sticky for the next time you use it.
