My son slides all over our floors and for someone (3 years old) that does not have control of all of his movements yet, it gets nerve-wracking. Ive tried several socks with slip protection and even did the glue-gun trick and they all failed. These seem to reduce my worries of him sliding into the corner of the wall or face-planting. I love these for my son! They dont get pills, and come in great patterns! I order a little bigger for my son and they fit great.
