> 24 hour実験的に送受信のファイバーの長さを150mと30mにして、試験してみましたが安定して動作します。 また、有線LANを片側100Mbpsと反対側1Gbpsにしてみても安定していました。 あとは夏を乗り切れるかどうかです。

> 24 hourTransformer Plugs it came with were US, but handle 100-240v, so just needed a plug converter. Cable I used it with was an SC/SC 30m multimode cable if anyone is wondering what will work - there might be others as Im not an expert in this area, but this worked fine and 30m was only about $50 Australian. Make sure you take off the little white plastic bits on the end if you are new to these.

> 24 hourI needed a solution to add an IP camera from several hundred feet away on to a network over single mode fiber and this set up solved my problem with no issues. It also only used 1 strand of fiber for TX and RX, allowing me to utilize other equipment on our existing fiber network.

> 24 hourI bought a pair of these, connected them with a 1M fiber cable and installed them between my cable modem and router. The idea was to have a fiber bridge giving air separation between the cable system and all the stuff on the home network: Coax-->Cable Modem-->Ethernet-->Converter-->Fiber-->Converter-->Ethernet-->Router Fast forward eight months. A spring thunderstorm came through, and a nearby lightning hit zapped the cable modem, killing its ethernet port. It also fried one of the media converters, one half of this fiber bridge. But the damage stopped there. Ive replaced the modem, as well the converter sacrificed to block the electrical hit. A low price to pay to save everything else on my home network. Recommended if you live in a lightning-prone area.

> 24 hourI inserted these 2 units into my network, between the Cisco switch and my audio streamer. This broke the electrical connection and replaced it with a fibre optic one. This has the advantage of not transferring electrical noise from my server. I have powered the last optical receiver in this chain, not with the supplied power adapter, but with a spare 5v 1amp DC lead from my linear power supply. Im very pleased with the affect on my hifi system.
