Not the best for a general cleaning rag...dirt gets stuck in it and I have to pick it out..I have tried to wash it in so many different ways....the rags are ruined..

I bought these for use as dry erase board erasers, they work perfect!

We have a small organic farm, and microfiber cloths are really useful when cleaning up or just wiping down. Please close do their job and then wash out beautifully. I’m getting ready to order more.

THESE ARE NOT MICROFIBER. 9/17/2016 They are soft. They are plush. THEY ARE NOT MICROFIBER. THEY WILL NOT PICK UP WATER. THEY ARE NOT GOOD FOR CLEANING MIRRORS. THEY ARE NOT GOOD FOR DRYING DISHES, COUNTER TOPS, OR HANDS. When they get wet, it is like water off a ducks back, it just sits on the surface of the cloth, and the next thing the cloth touches gets very wet. Its almost as if they have a special Rain X coating, to shed water. Possibly, it is the dye used to make the towel the attractive black color. Ive only washed them with fragrance free detergent. After a few months, I repeatedly tried washing half of them in heavy bleach to see if that would break up the fibers and make them more absorbent, but it didnt see to change the cloth at all, which is impressive, outside the fact that it failed to make them more absorbent. A couple of years ago, I bought these blue microfiber towels (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005BGCI8K/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and this spring I wanted to upgrade the look in the kitchen, but these black microfiber towels are a HUGE DOWNGRADE IN PERFORMANCE. They are, however, very soft, extremely plush, and very gently on your skin, so as a shower/wash cloth, they might be five starts.

Im an automotive Painter and had trouble in the past getting white microfiber rags for paint prep. I dont have to worry about color bleed when using these with harsh chemicals and they pick up dust and dirt very well. Ill be order a larger bundle asap.
