Well worth the cost. Our chinchilla loves it. Very heavy duty, easy to clean, fairly low noise, and hopefully will stand the test of time!

My two chinchillas are very active little boys. I’ve tried standing saucer treadmills, and two different running wheels the past two years since I decided to get them their first wheel. Each time, within 3-6 months I either need to replace the bearings, grease the center, or replace it entirely. Why? Because it gets incredibly loud and literally wakes up my parents and I unfortunately. Now those I’ve spend anywhere from $50 to $100 on. So I was definitely a little hesitant to pay the current price of $135 for this. I needed a silent wheel. NEED. And that’s what I got. Thank god. I’m so happy. What totally sets it a part is the assembly part of it I think. Super rigid frame, the nuts and screws are good quality, and after putting in the effort to get everything tight, you’re left with a high quality item that I hope will last for a long time. I’ve finally found the best wheel. This review could change if it starts having the same issues as past wheels, but so far so good.

My chinchillas love this wheel. I have gone through my fare share of wheels. This wheel does not disappoint. Comes with everything you need to assemble. The material is sturdy and durable. The mounting on the back is what I really liked. This was easy to attach and it’s secure. The wheel is larger than I thought so I did have to rearrange the cage to get it to fit properly. It’s quite and spins smoothly I do not hear them running on it in the middle of the night. The wheels that I buy at Petco are around $30 and they only last about a month. My chinchillas usually destroy them. I definitely feel like this wheel is a great choice. The quality is well worth it and my chinchillas are happy.

Its It was suppose to be quite but its LOUD and for what it cost me it should be quiet. But as long as my baby chin likes it, its ok I guess.

This is my second best investment for the chinchilla, falling short to only his chinchilla mansion. The wheel is rather large, beware of that if you have a smaller or skinnier cage. Perfect wheel, no center bearing to rub on, easy to clean, incredibly quiet, and smooth enough for my chinch to sprint on. He’s not the skinniest chinch and he looks like a baby running on the wheel. 10/10

I knew it was going to be big, but dang this thing is bloody huge. My wife chinchilla will definitely fit inside of it. Not to mention I was not expecting actual tools. Imagine my surprise when I found not just the generic Allen wrench like you find with most Ikea furniture. It even has a pair of gloves Incase your little fuzzball is a little bitey when putting the new wheel in. Definitely buy again if she wears this one out

In case you didnt look at the description, this wheel is a whopping 15 in diameter. A hamster would get lost in it. This is for a medium sized pet, at least Chinchilla sized, and it spins beautifully and silently. The aluminum makes it chew proof and also very easy to clean. But you need to make sure that it fits in the cage you have, as it needs some ground and top clearance. I find it a bit too pricey, though.

My chinchillas love this thing. None of them have trouble using it, and I hardly notice when they do because its so quiet! No sharp edges, no protruding bolts to snag fur on or cause injury. Currently have it in a playpen for them, but will be moving it into an empty cage that has better support for the attachment.

My chinchillas love this wheel. Now they have a newer cage and new wheels. And they love it! This wheel is very large, so I would suggest that you measure your cage wheel area first. I had to move around a couple of shelves, but it fits perfectly now. I would also suggest that you make sure that there are no easy ways for them to jump on the top of the wheel while going across the cage. I was able to easily install a wood plank that went from one side of the cage to the next without room for them to bother the top of the wheel. This wheel is much more rewarding than it is trouble. It installs easily. There are no complex braces to secure. My chinchillas were instantly curious about it and both of them use it, but one of them likes it better than the other. This wheel is everything that I expected and more. Its safe, quiet and the perfect size. My babies are putting many miles on theirs. The only small problem than I can say is that I can hear this wheel when they go fast. I am used to that with any wheels so it doesnt bother me. would suggest this for any chinchilla owner.
