> 3 dayThey’re well made, not a significantly thin plastic, sturdy and reliable. I just think my issues are the liquids I’m working with. I use this mostly for hobby paint, transferring paint and paint thinners. The problem is, when working with the paint thinners these droppers break at the seams and render them useless. I’ve seen this happen with droppers from different sources as a warning for anyone else that have the same usage.

> 3 dayI use these for working with lacquer-based paints and thinners. These pipettes are very thin with weak walls. They are especially vulnerable along the seam. The bubble part at the top where you squeeze to create suction is prone to failure. Ive had several of these break after just one use. The plastic is vulnerable to solvents and will simply crack and fail whenever I use them with lacquer thinner. I have some old Model Master pipettes that I bought over a decade ago, and they are still working well (if not a bit stained up and ugly after repeated use). But those old ones are still working to this day. In comparison, these new pipettes feel much thinner in the hand, and I think that is why they crack and fail so easily. The plastic walls are too thin for use with solvents.

Greater than one weekI bought these for essential oils that didnt have the the drip top, but ended up first using one to transfer melted lip balm into teeny tiny containers. I hadnt thought far enough ahead and was looking at the glass holding the liquid lip balm and the empty containers wondering How am I going to get that into there without it ending up all over the counter? and thats when I remembered the pipettes. Worked great, none ended up on the counter. Since the pipettes are disposable that was one less thing to clean up. Besides using them to transfer small amounts of liquid and measure out one drop of something at a time...Im thinking these would also be good for oiling henges or machinery, especially somewhere hard to reach, without extra oil getting all over the place. Theyre almost 6 inches long, come loose in a plastic bag, take up a lot more space than I expected, but I wont run out of them anytime soon.
