Wets up well With moderate resin on base material. It has trouble with wavy forms and curves

I bought this for boat work because it is easy to buy on Amazon. The mat was not as dimensionally stable (stretched easily in either dimension and diagonally) as 1708 mat Ive bought from boat product distributors such as US Composites. The mat was also particularly weak along the folds.

Makes for a very strong laminated product. Price is comparable to other sources (Amazon had FREE shipping, though!).

The fiberglass was as described.

The first time ordering the 1708 mat was good. The second time the 1708 mat is useless. In the picture you can see the difference.
