Love the wool ironing surface so much I have 3 for different sewing areas in my house.

Nice size for pressing quilting pieces. I have it next to my sewing machine so it is convenient to reach over and press seams as I sew. Thick, dense surface keeps heat from going through to table.

I really like this wool ironing mat. It did smell a bit like a sheep when I received it but I sprayed it with Febreeze and no issues. Doesnt make what I iron smell either. It is a really good size. The only issue I had was user error, had my iron up too hot and scorched a little bit of the mat. Doesnt affect the mat at all. So glad I bought this.

There is everything to like & no dislike! Presses both sides of the fabric without needing to flip it over & iron!

This is a great mat for ironing. I love that I can set up a small ironing space and not get out my huge board. With a tailors board I get nice flat seams.

Now I dont have to set my ironing board up!

Love my wool pressing pad. It is just what I was looking for. Great quality at a good price. Large enough to do a wonderful job and small enough to fit in the space I had planned.

I had never heard of a wool pressing mat before although I have been sewing for 60+ years. Old dog, new tricks? I have used it in the construction of quilt patches and also in mask construction. That has been the extent of my sewing since receiving the mat, but I am hooked. I wish I could remember where I learned of wool mats, so I could thank them as well

Do not use iron rest on any other surface than wool mat. Wish there were instructions. I used it on the wool mat and really liked it. I now realize I was foolish, but I put very thick layers of cotton tea towels under the rest to see if heat would travel through to my cutting mat, left iron ~15 sec. and my mat was warped when I checked it. Worse case I expected to be warm. But better that than my kitchen counter! I’m very happy with this reasonable priced wool mat, and the iron rest when used on the pad. I am looking at getting the larger size as well.
