> 24 hourGarbage. Would not take paint. Tried Auto primer first and wouldn’t stick. Testors, Krylon, Tamiya- nothing would paint out even after extensive cleaning and prep. Finally threw this kit away. Been building models for 40 years -no good!!

> 24 hourThe quality of the model is incredibly poor. Even after cleaning and shaving, parts fit poorly. Gaps in the the fit are common. I assume the low price is because there are very few parts to this model. About 10 parts for the engine, 10 for the chassis, and 10 for the body+interior. Approximately 30 parts that simply do NOT fit well together. I expected trimming would be needed but then the parts should FIT, but they dont. Sad because the technology to make parts that fit well is EASY by todays standards. Its been a while, but I dont remember my models from the 60s (which had a lot more parts) having these kind of problems. YUK.
