(2 Boxes) Aqueon 06084 Filter Cartridge, Medium, 3-Pack Each

I don’t know if these were counterfeit or they changed the design but they look completely different than the filters that came with my original Aqueon 10, The filters do not fit properly, they are oversized, The charcoal leaks & clumps up at the bottom of the filter, and the filters only last a few days before the change light starts to blink.

I had never had a problem with Aqueon filters, but I changed out 1/3 of my water today and the cartridge, and now my water is GREEN!!! Thank God I have another aquarium to put my babies in or I may have lost them!! The tetra filter I “upgraded” from may not have cleaned the tank as efficiently as the Aqueon QuietFlow LED has on my other aquarium, but I’ve never had one turn my water green!! My fish will just have to be crowded in my other tank until I can get this water tested tomorrow!! I’m not so sure I trust these filters anymore after reading some reviews and now having it happen to me! It seemed odd and almost unbelievable until it happened to me!!!

So far I have had no problems with these filters. Im fostering my friends fish and these were the cheapest on Amazon. Youre pretty much getting 6 cartridges ( 6 month supply) for $15.00 which is a great deal! I have more on the way because I only have one box left from previous order. But will definitely be a returning customer. Would recommend.

Wish aqueon would lower their prices not sellers fault as these are more expensive than other filter cartriges i have used with a different filter in the past. Unfortunatly my sons tank has aqueon filter so I have to purchase these. Work great and do what their intended to do
