It took a bit of cutting to resize the filter as the opening was too small but if you cut the interior in four or five slots you can make it fit without tearing it.

Direct replace on our shark nv501. After a while, the heap filter on our vac gets clogged and can no longer be washed . This kit works well to restore the vac’s suction power.

I ordered these and unfortunately although they look like Shark replacement items, they are not. The foam filter opening did not fit as a replacement. Way to small. The hepa filter cartridge looks like the original, but is a 1/2 size smaller than the original. No way would these items filter anything properly. Suction would bypass the filter around the edges. Save your money. I ended up ordering the real filters from the Shark website. More expensive but they actually fit.

I was pleasantly surprised that these did fit so well in my shark rotator. As always be sure to check your model numbers, but this was the perfect inexpensive replacement.

These were delivered very quickly and they fit perfectly. I like that there are two so I can clean one while the other is in the vacuum. Reasonably priced too.
