Living in a very tiny apartment, I am always looking for ways to make everything fit and be accessible. Added the 2 inch Swivel Caster Wheels to a small bookcase that I use for my pots and pans. Now I can roll the shelves out of the pantry, gram the pans I need and push the shelves back out of the way. Took this old lady all of 15 minutes to solve a problem that has plagued me for 2 years. Two of the four casters came locked, which left indents in the wheels. You can see the brake spikes in the image and how they line up with the wheel indents. It doesnt appear to inhibit it from rolling, and I think itll still work fine for my purposes. But just rolling it across my desk in my hands, it thumps as it goes over that indent.

They were smaller than I expected but do the job with no problem. They roll smooth and lock firmly. I like that the swivel locks as well.

I have almost everything in my office and shop on some sort of wheels. That makes it easy to rearrange the workspace. You can say Im an experienced consumer when it comes to caster wheels. I rank the quality in the middle. They are better than the ones offered at most home improvement store, but not super heavy duty. But they can take a load. The issue isn’t the weight, I would say the rubber wears off on rough floor. On flat surfaces like hardwood they are great. The rubber protects vinyl or laminate flooring from scratches. All four wheels have brakes. That’s very useful especially for storage. Often a set has only two locking wheels, and if one can’t be reached, it only holds on one brake to not roll. These are good coasters. They roll smooth, the bearings are good, the brakes work, the swivels swivel. The finish isn’t that great though, the black paint chips very easily. The price is very fair. So five stars it is. I hope it helps to make a decision.

Item was clearly used. Came with glue, grease and other crap on each wheel. Casters were scratched and dented up. pushed my project back with this inconvenience
