it has multiple size ends to fit in various size toilet paper holders. My original broke and most of the replacement spools had the ends that were too big to fit in the holder. this fit fine. the spring is strong enough to hold the toilet paper roll securely in place. it was sold in a package of two so I have another in case it is ever needed. the price was reasonable enough where buying an extra didnt matter.

These are a perfect replacement for the original bar which became brittle and broke.
