Good value for the money but definitely not 10x power - more like 5x power. Not a dealbreaker since the reason I bought them was for reading small print.

These are surprisingly solid, and of high quality. I think it is stupid to have a category of Light weight... as if that is a good thing for a magnifying glass... Glass is heavy by nature. It is re-molded stone. You want it to be heavy -- otherwise you are talking about a plastic lens, which scratches easily and has inferior optical properties. These were very solid, very reasonably priced, and Ill be buying more int he future. the only negative is that the plastic around the lens is a little cheesy... I dont think it would be to the liking of Sherlock Holmes... but for the price, very excusable.
