They keep the seat belt in place

Like: it’s so big makes it easier to find seatbelt buckle and stops buckle from twisting. Dislike: buckle still flops around doesn’t hold it still like I thought it would. I needed this because I switched my son from his car seat to a booster seat, and the way the booster sat, I wasn’t able to buckle him in and he hadn’t figured it out yet either. So I got this to help it from being pushed down into the seat crevice and to hold it up so me and him could reach it. It didn’t really work, the seatbelt thing would still push down even with the red thing around it, it would push inside of it. So maybe it just wasn’t tight enough, not sure, but it didn’t work for me. I ended up just getting a seatbelt extender

I purchased these and the Lulabloc seat belt holders and ended up keeping these and returning the others. I used them in a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The seat belt holders have a recessed area so they can go down into the seat when the back is folded down, which is a nightmare for kids in boosters. These are solid and the Lulablocs are not. These are harder to get on because of the solid rigidity, but they also dont slide right back up and get in the way. The way they fit in the Jeep they are almost flush with the head of the seat belt holder, not down farther like in the stock photos. So they *just* fit, but hey it works! I had my husband shove one of them on it was such a tight fit, but again, that means its not coming right back up to get in the way. I also like that they are red and easy for my kids to find against the dark interior of the Jeep. I hope this helps someone else with the same type of seat belts.

We bought these for 2 different cars, before looking at our seatbelt design. They work great in the car that has non-recessed belt inserts. However in our car with recessed belt inserts, there is no way to get them around the insert. This was completely our error, and we should have checked in advance as it is not a problem with the product. We are holding onto them as we plan to swap cars in the near future, but make sure you check your seatbelt style prior to purchasing.

My child has a terrible time getting the buckle to latch when sitting in the booster seat. Our car has buckles that wiggle and shift as you try to get everything latched properly. This little item has been our solution. The holder fits over the buckle and holds it steady, and also (since it is bright red) is like a target for kids to aim for with the buckle. We have had far fewer meltdowns since installing these. It does take a bit of finesse to get the holder over the buckle--but once you have it on--it does not budge.

Who knew something so small could make such a difference! If you have floppy seat belt buckles in your car you need these. I pulled the buckle almost all the way through and then pushed the silicon base into the socket where the buckle can be pushed into. There were times when I used to spend a few minutes struggling to get my kid buckled and now it takes just a few seconds. I was skeptical at first because the design is so simple but It really does work for me.
