These filters are great. I like that they include the hose adapters. They feel nice and solid and heavy, more so than some of the cheaper off-brand filters I have tried in the past. These seem to be identical to the Camco ones and perform just as well in the quick testing I did. 2 filters should last you 4 to 6 months. Im looking forward to using them in the spring.

I wasn’t aware that after installing these for your RV that you have to turn the water on in the camper and have it run for a bit first before using it for personal reasons and I went to wash my hands and black stuff spilled all over my hands. It was easy to rinse off though just surprised me. After the water ran clear in the sink from that episode, I thought it was over with the black stuff coming out but I still turned on the faucet in the bathtub and it wasn’t done because it came out again quite a bit there too. Again was easy to rinse off and didn’t stain anything so that was good. After that however the water ran clear and everything was good to go.

Well made with tough plastic. Easy to connect. Great filter to use for your RV.

We have been camping for over 20 years and have used similar type filters for our water. Theses state each filter (comes in set of 2) is good for “half a year”. We stay at camp May-Oct 1 so, because of our higher water usage, we will change it mid-season. I love that these filters come with flexible adapters, too.

Was only expecting the filter. Was a very nice surprise to get the attachment x TWO. Using for plants and pets, which saves me time and energy because I was using my structured water filter for my pets and certain plants. Fits nicely, just remember to flush before using.

Used these to replace my old Camco filter that I’ve probably been using too long on my camper. Definitely noticed an improvement in the water quality. Not sure how long they will hold up, but if they don’t last long I’ll update my review. Comes with a short adapter for an easy connection. At this point, it seems to work good at a slightly smaller price point.

The RV water filter that has a great flow rate, does not restrict faucet output, and can be used for hundreds of gallons, lasting at least six months. The filter is reasonably priced and provides clear water, free of grit and most bad tastes. It is also a good alternative to standard RV water filters, and can be used as a prefilter for connecting water hoses to motorhomes. It removes sediment and chlorine, which improves the taste of the water, and filters out harmful elements. The filter is easy to install, does not significantly affect water flow or pressure, and is essential for camping with an RV.

Except for the chlorine, Im content with my my citys water supply for aeroponic gardening. To remove/reduce the chlorine, Ill usually fill a wide-open container with water and let it sit for a few days – seems to get rid of the smell at least. However, that process takes too long when Im using lots of water so I thought Id try one of these inexpensive filters.

If you are familiar with the typical inline water filter you find at your local department store this really is no different. The flow is great and doesnt seem to restrict the output of my faucets when Im using it. It does noticeably remove the chlorine flavor in the city water I use, which is really all I want it for. I have used mine for hundreds of gallons so far and the flow doesnt seem to have reduced yet, so I expect to get at least six months out of it. The price is about what I expect to pay for these, so that seems fair. If you dont like using a countertop drinking water filter but still want to remove the chlorine taste from your drinking water, these work great.
