Personally i think its a good idea but after getting it and seeing how its built and the Weight of the Camera to go on it, i would not Trust the Adhesive, ONLY the screw on feature. just my 2 cents though.

Used the adhesive method but after 3 weeks it fell off. Replaced with 2 large Command Strips Velcro picture hangers and so far so good. Otherwise the mount itself is sturdy and solid. Easy to screw camera on and took just a couple minutes to install. Edit: After only 1 week using the Command strips the camera once again fell off. So now its perched on top of my kitchen cabinets using no mount of any kind.

I decided to try the two sided tape to see if it was strong enough. Great news. you dont have to screw holes in the wall, because the tape is super strong and theres no sag after a couple weeks (if it was going to sag, it would already have started). Happy with the purchase. Wish it was offered as a single, but understand why its only available as a pair.

I am kind of worried about random mounts that are sold online because you really do not know the quality of it. The issue is not the angle bracket, I was worried about the double side tape. I am not planning to drill any holes or use any screws so it will be hold one solely with the adhesive tape. I mounted a Wyze Pan Camera upside down hanging from an aluminum awning outside. It will be under the awning so it will be protected from the rain and sun. So far it is holding on very well and I am very happy with my purchase! Since the bracket is made out of steel, you can bend it a little bit to get the perfect angle.

Ripped the paint and drywall off my wall when I went to take it down to drill holes to install the cord through the wall haha

Love the fact it cane with two. If anything and it falls off all I need to do is get more 3m tape at the store that is stronger. Other than that is stays up outside with the 3m tape cause I cant drill it into my rented duplex.

Took down another camera that had a mount there to replace with a cheap Wyze cam in my daughters room. Thought we may do other rooms so the 3oack was nice. It does the trick, went right up on the holes from the other one and has held up nicely for a few weeks. Nice find.

These mounts work exactly as described. Quality is good.
