I have been buying Zilla substrate for years for my lizard and turtle. It is easy to put down in the tank and provides a soft walking/laying area for my pet.

These are a lifesaver for our tortoise cage! I throw dirt down onto of it in 1 half of the cafe and leave the other half open. When I need to clean it, I shake it off and rinse it in the tub.

Make sure to buy two or three, its so easy to clean our terrarium now. We just remove everything clean the glass then lay a fresh piece in. The dirty one gets thrown in the wash and the spin cycle practically dries it out for next use. Plus you have the added benefit of not worrying about impaction.
