    Greater than one week

I bought this excited to play some of my childhood library that has now become insanely expensive to enjoy. I saw it was plug and play but also had no timebomb, but oh boy that was the least of my concerns. First off it kept saying Cant open _dsmenu.dat then eventually stopped reading so thought it broke, but while switching back to my Mario Kart 7 I felt my heart sink as no game popped up. I noticed the R4 Cartridge does a LOUD click, similar to entering a 3DS game but louder, almost like it forcing itself in or something. Sounds like popping off the click of a pen with all the force you have. I started swapping to different games thinking that this card just physically damaged my 3DS. I basically took out one last game and heard a loud click and the next time I put Mario Kart 7 it worked again. But I wasnt tempted to test fate again. Idk how the mechanism works for the 3DS vs original DS but I think its not worth risk of possibly breaking your 3DS for a semi-butchered experience of a game. So, Ill be returning mine, maybe Ill get lucky at find my old games for under $100.

Works Like a charm for DS, GBA, GBC, NES. NeoGeo was touchy. Press L+R+A+B+X+Y to go back to the menu from in a game. Safe mode makes the Games look nicer in the menu but you cant change the background unless you change the config in _rpg/globalsettings . I set the year to 2030 and it still works. My card was in a local amazon warehouse and arrived within 24hrs so your mileage may vary if you see longer shipping times.

You just pop this in like any game and suddenly have 100s of games to play! Worked perfect from the start and was super easy to figure out.

IT DID NOT WORK in a Nintendo DS LITE. But it worked 10 points in 3DS. Just put the card, turn on the console and you will see the new menu to access directly to the games (nds, gba, gbc, nes and neogeo?). You have here near to 900 games. It is really nice. My issue here is that I use the Nintendo DS LITE on the go and the 3DS at home. So this card was not a solution for me, because after reading the product, is says that it worked in all the DS. Best

I wasnt expecting this to be ready to use straight out of the package. Plugged it into my New 3DS XL and Im blown away by how simple it is. Highly recommended!

This is a really good Flashcart, since it avoids the timebomb issue. Setup is easy, since the website for the cart is included on the front sticker. I changed the microsd included for a standard 32gb card. Arrived within 2 days of ordering it, I’m very pleased with the order. The card also came in a protective case, which was appreciated.

I thought I was in for a difficult time when I purchased this for my kid, but it turns out it’s a way better product than expected. I would purchase from them again should the need arise. If they manage to support the latest consoles I may buy from them sooner!!! 10/10

No SNES emulator or Sega Genesis/GameGear emulators. Needs a manual to fully explain how to use it. With some time tech inclined Adults will figure it out. Also I would suggest the Chinese Mfgr. put a text file with a good no virus website to find desired titles. Update your console first!!! The mfgr made an attempt to give a hint how to run emulated titles. Look for the To run “X,Y,Z” games run this first.nds for each included emulator in its sub directory. An almost perfect product had they included the SNES and Sega emulators. (Even if they didn’t include the game titles at least include the emulators!). These (emulator type cards) are very expensive for what they do, but once you figure it out, they do ALMOST everything you expect them to. Oh, from a former I.T. Pro point of view. As the 3DS and the cartridge have an ARM64 cpu, YES if someone wrote an emulator for the N64 and a controller emulator for the N64 Joystick, the 3DS with this emulator card, WOULD HAVE NO LAG OR TROUBLE RUNNING N64 GAMES AT ALL!!! Whoever posts otherwise does not have enough technical experience.
