Nothing fancy but it does work. And much better than those plastic keys you can find on here.

We have an older freezer. We lost the key many years ago and at times this door would pop open if we had the freezer packed too full or improperly. This replacement key fit perfectly and we are now certain that the door will stay closed and we will not lose any frozen food items to frost or end up with a leak all over the floor.

Worked great and my freezer was this 20+ year old kind and did it perfectly

This is a better key to choose, bought the plastic ones before and they strip pretty easily, should’ve started with this one, have a upright freezer and nowhere in the manual does it say that when freezer is in self defrost mode it tends to lose the pressure suction and the door opens, unfreezing all your food. So keeping it locked prevents this

WE had a plastic one which wore out quickly. This key lasted. One note of caution to be gentle on the lock. Since it is metal, turning this key too hard will strip the lock inside the door.

This is a very nice metal key. I used it one time and put it up as a spare because I bought a pack of 4 plastic keys that work just as well. Dont get me wrong this key is superior to the plastic ones by a long shot. Very durable and I can see this metal key to really last. I wish I had bought two of them.

Glad I didnt buy the plastic version. It works great. This is for my garage freezer which has a new half a beef in it. It also has popsicles in it and my grandkids saw grandma getting them out. I can just imagine them getting in the freezer looking for a popsicle and leaving the freezer door open. Nope, not now. Locked!

My plastic key had finally stripped completely and we could not open our deep freezer. Tried the metal option on a whim and am super happy. Didn’t realize how much I was accommodating the striped key by pushing in the door or trying 15 times to get it to work. This works first turn no problem. Frigidaire standup unit.

The key I got would be you and it never worked quite right this key fits perfectly what does exactly what I needed to do witches to lock and unlock the unit quickly and easily
