> 3 dayIf you want something that will look like wax and be much sturdier then this is the choice for you. It is not wax but some variation of dyed hot glue. I can recognize it by the smell and consistency. Unfortunately for me, I wanted wax, not glue. Once sealing a letter with this you need to tear the paper to break the seal. The whole point of a seal is that it is broken when you open the document. I leave one star because the description clearly states wax.

20-11-2024I love writing letters to my friends and sealing them with this wax. However, the wax is supple, not traditional. This means its very strong and doesnt break easily, so that you can send these letters in the mail and not have to worry about the seal breaking on the way. I was hoping for the traditional kind of wax, which is brittle, so that it would break when the letter was opened. The recipients of my letters have to tear the paper around the seal in order to open them. This isnt a huge deal, but I figured Id let people know in case they had a preference either way. If youre looking to mail your letters, get this wax! Its great! If you wanted the wax that would break like how it does in the movies, try finding some traditional wax. Also, I find that using two of the pieces is perfect for a regular-sized seal. In my photo, the letter on the left used 4 and that was way too much. The letter on the right had 2.

> 3 dayThis was my first time buying wax for wax seals. Worked great for me. The candles look cheap but I only went through 1/3 of one candle to do about 50 seals.

> 3 dayI used these for our wedding invitations. I had to use 2 per each invitation because if I used one, only 75 percent of the stamp would show up. It would cut off one spot. If there were about 1.5 times the size they would be absolutely perfect. So much fun to use too!

> 3 dayThis was my first time doing wax seals. I used this wax to seal my wedding invitations. I ended up melting two of the squares of wax for each seal, one wasn’t enough. I’m not sure if I just bought a larger stamp than normal, but it didn’t seem that large. The squares took about four minutes to heat up. The hardest part was spreading the wax around in a circle before I stamped it. After a while I got the hang of it and it wasn’t too hard.
