> 3 dayThrow your dirty brass into a wash solution containing SS pins... turn tumbler ON... an hour later? The brass looks almost new. Inside the cases and the primer pockets are cleaned thoroughly. A word of caution is in order here. Depending on the caliber of the cases being cleaned - specifically the case mouth - you may find one or two pins wedged in the case mouth. Or, a straggler pin could get logged in the flash hole. No big deal. Just push it out with a small punch or something. Simply said. You need to inspect all of your cases before you get to the primer seating step. Running into the issue of wedged pins in 6.5 Grendel case mouth once to often forced me to use the smaller SS pellets which solved the problem completely.

> 3 dayThis was my first attempt at polishing brass and it far exceeded my expectations. Used harbor freight rock tumbler with some modifications. Wish I had started this sooner.

13-06-2025Typical stainless media. Gives all of my brass an excellent shine when combined with dish soap and some citric acid

> 3 dayI bought it to use in a rotary tumbler which proved far to noisy when in use. Now I use it in my vibration tumbler, and the results are good, though the media is heavier than the walnut polishing material I personally like. For my purpose, the walnut material is easier to use, but the stainless steel media I think gives a better polish. BTW I de-prime my spent primers before cleaning.

> 3 dayPoor magnetic properties makes this difficult to separate from the brass. Not very pleased as Ive already mixed it with the original pins from Lyman. Overall not worth the money. Go get the real stuff.

> 3 dayWet tumbling brass for reloading in a harbor freight 5lbs vibrating tumbler. An hour with water and dawn dish soap and the brass looks better than it did new.

> 3 dayI had a rubber drum for tumbling, with these it ended up coating everything black inside, afterwards i switched to a PVC tube, and they worked like magic! Brass and aluminum would go in, shiny near mirrorlike surfaces would come out.
