Greater than one weekWhen purchasing these covers go up in size. They are to cover a range of sizes. This fits a 26 in suitcase very nicely.

> 3 dayOur trip from Florida to Alaska by plane included several stops. However the baggage cover never made it to our first stop. The velcro closure (which seemed to be not very strong) must have come off during transit. What a waste of $. Very disappointed!!!!

Face to the front of your suticase, gap in right side. If your suitcase handle is on the left, this cover will not fit your suitcase. If you have already bought and received it, you can turn the cover from the inside out, so that the gap is on the left, but this is not a perfect solution.
