These 260 balloons are very well made and sturdy. I expect that is so they can be twisted and stretched to make balloon animals. But they are also very hard to blow up. You need a pump of some sort. I was going to fill them with a mixture of water and oil to show wave motion in a nonlinear channel, part of a program on solar magnetic fields for kids and people just learning about the sun. That also requires pressure. So, again, a pump of some sort. There are some of these balloons that come with an air pump, but try to get one that is sturdy. Even a hundred balloons, like this cost effective package, is a lot to pump. I am going to try some of the handpumps. There are electric pumps for these kinds of balloons. The ones certified for parties are quieter. Look for ones that have a tiny point that tappers to also handle balloons with larger openings.

Yes I know how stretch balloons. Notice no indentations— those never even made to twist phase and 2 that did also popped.. hand pump. Thicker balloon also more difficult to inflate..
