Just what I needed. Easy to install, works like they should.

I have a 07 base corvette and I couldnt get it to snap on. I was able to get one end on, but the other end didnt and it broke the clip on the inside because I believe it was to small. I purchased a pair from NAPA #BK8196547 and worked perfect, a little more expensive, but to have the fit nice its worth it to me.

The hood wouldnt stay open on my 2008 Z06. Only took about a minute per side to remove and install the new struts. Hood now stays open.

Prop lid, then remove old struts, fully extend the hood to easily install the new struts. The grease is necessary. Silicone Grease resists water.

Direct fit, identical to the GM oem hood strut on a 2006 c6z. The hood would barely stay up on the factory hood struts. Night and day difference now.
