When you replace the battery on the key fob, you have to take out that little screw on the back. Once you do that the locktite doesnt hold anymore and the screw gets lost. This rubber cover fits great and will keep the screw in place where it should be. Very happy with these and the reasonable price of two for $9. Im going to buy 2 more for my wifes Honda.

Our key fob kept coming apart. The plastic housing is too fragile. This keeps it safe in its housing and we don’t have to pay for an expensive key replacement!

My key fell apart and I needed this to keep the fob together until I decided whether to get another key or just try my chances at transferring my key into a new key shell. It’s tight and hard to put on, but that’s a good thing! Held my key together until I figured it out. It’s thick and comfortable. Thickness makes it a little hard to put back onto the key ring but it’s far from impossible. Great value!

I have 2009 Honda Accord. My FOB shell is all broken and scratched. I bought another shell, thinking more expensive shell is better and hoped that screw hole would align.... I bought Key Fob Replacement Keyless Remote Shell Fit for Honda Accord 2003-2012/ Civic EX 2006-2013/ Pilot 2009-2015/ CR-V 2005 2006 for $15.25, though screw hole aligns with the original key buy does not snap on tight. This shell is not deep enough. So,,, I bought this skin cover to hold the FOB in case I drop it knowing that this skin cover will keep all the pieces within it. Combination of cheaper shell, which snaps on tight without screw, and this skin cover will keep all the parts together if I ever drop my FOB. . who says expensive is better? By the way, theses two companies that makes the shells should remove 2009 Honda Accord from their advertisement.
