Not fragile or flimsy at all, with a good glazing that looks like it will last through many washings. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, too. The set came with a little pamphlet for customer service, which I contacted about ordering extra bowls. Greater than one weekThese bowls were so cute and just the right size for my cat. Shes very particular about how her whiskers touch the bowl as she eats and sometimes with the old bowls she had she wouldnt eat because her whiskers touched the sides. These ceramic ones are much wider, fairly durable and they dont move once placed in the stand. I highly recommend if you need something like this quickly and for the great price.
