I purchased these for a workbench I built in my shop. The only drawback I found with these wheels was that they came with nuts and bolts but did not take into account that they may be installed in wood and thus require lag bolts and washers. This is why I only gave it overall three stars for installation ease. Everyone does not have the luxury of being able to attach to new steel when using these wheels.

Did the job well

I bought it and installed it on my current chair immediately. It’s very good. It matches with my chair. The most important thing is that it is very durable.

These casters are awesome! The locking mechanism is amazing, even licks the swivel plate so they are rock solid when locked! Very quiet and sturdy. I had spray a good amount of lubricant in them when I got them as they were a bit stiff out of the box, but thats too minor to dock any stars for. I would buy these again!

I first bought a set of these to replace some discount stores ones that fell apart. These are well-built, sturdy, roll freely, lock, and hold up the weight. I havent bought any other brands of casters since I first bought these about 3 years ago.

Very sturdy wheels

Very sturdy and rolls nicely over deck boards. Mounted using lag bolts instead of the hardware that came with it.

Unfortunately the overall height of these casters is about 4.25 not the 4.00 advertised. A quarter inch makes a difference in our project, so I have to return these.

As you can see from the pictures I decided to reduce to 3 inch wheels which greatly lowered my center of gravity making my cart more stable. The aged (30 years) wheels were starting to show great signs of wear and since 2 where stationary it limited its use. Now with all 4 having swivels changes its uses exponentially. These are nicely engineered casters and they swivel...oh so sweetly. I did however lubricate the bearings closest to mounting plate with WD-40 White Lithium Grease. These are the bearings that you cant visably see the ball bearings. Increase smoothness was apparent after lubricating. The other visable bearing seems well greased and left it alone. Do your research if youre replacing wheels and make sure the plate holes are precise. I saw many listed that even looked identical but the bolt hole patterns were all different. These casters work incredibly well, I cant see finding anything better.
