Plastic material but its good, probable with 1 or 2 years with sun light every day, can be broken...

Unfortunately, the MAIN reason I wanted this device was because it was advertised as holding the Ring StandUp Camera to a ceiling. Well, it does. Sort of. It is about 1/2 too short to hold the Camera straight up-and-down, which was a disappointment. It will attach to a ceiling and hold the Camera at about a 15deg (downward) angle.

Love my camera. I use these in my home bc my kids be in the house playing while I’m in my shop working and I like to keep a eye on them.

Well constructed, sturdy, more options to tilt camera vs original mount. Low priced but high value.
