This is just like the screen protector I use on my smartphone. The main key is to install it in a dust-free environment. With rigid glass protectors it’s much easier to keep them bubble-free than with the flexible film type, which I always found to be a nightmare. I did get a fleck of dust and a small bubble under mine, but not over the LCD display area so they don’t bother me. I’ve had rigid protectors crack every now and again but without damaging the underlying screen, and that’s why I get a pack of three or so, which typically last me years.

You need 3 things. Clear, responsive, durable. Checks all. No glare, fingers work, survived direct ground collision.

Im going to echo the other reviews a bit. Ive had this on my Edge 830 for a little over a month now and its been perfect. I really cannot properly convey how easy this was to install. I cleaned the screen per the instructions, dropped on the screen protector, and it just adhered itself perfectly. Ive been struggling with screen protectors on my own and my families devices since 2006 and this was by far the easiest one Ive ever installed.

Like that it came with cleaning pads and was easy to install. I also bought a silicon rubber protective cover as well. Having MTBd alot you know its only a matter of time until a crash happens, it maybe weeks or months but its going to happen and Im trying not to destroy this one.

Easy install. No issues with bubbles

Screen protector fits perfectly on my Edge 530. The install kit includes wet wipes, microfiber clothes, dust removal and alignment stickers. I would have paid an extra couple dollars for a snap-on plastic alignment guide, but the stickers worked well enough.

Looked like a quality product, but not the case. Ive applied vinyl graphics on cars for years. Lost count of how many iPhone screen protectors Ive installed for myself and others over the years. Two reasons I do NOT recommend this product. First and foremost, its every so slightly (between 0.5mm and 1.0mm) too large when positioned perfectly on my Garmin Edge 830. If anything, it needs to be a tiny bit smaller than the actual glass, in order to get a perfect seal. IMPOSSIBLE to get this glass protector to properly seal on one edge, as its too large. The Garmin Edge 830 itself only has one tiny flaw...The screen can be difficult to read due to the glossy/reflective glass. This does nothing to help. Not only is it glossy, it fingerprints much too easily. I found a matte finish touch screen protector for my new Garmin Edge 830 on Amazon. Have not received it yet, but that should solve the selection issue described about. It wont arrive from Germany for close to a month. At least I have a screen protector for the interim, albeit not a good one. I will review the matte finish protector on order when it arrives.

I found this product easy to install. The fact that I had three gave me the confidence to install the screen protector. It was easy and included everything I needed! Try it you will love it!

Easy to install and they are so generous that they give you separate set up tools for each screen protector. Perfect cut fitting 530/830 and no issue using Garmin official silicon case, and perfect protection against nasty sweat when training indoor.
