I purchased it to filter the soil and sand from stones in order to plant trees.. worth and convenient to use

I bought it to separate my coals from the ashes when I clean my fireplace insert. I cut a piece and pushed it into my coal bucket creating a mold, then taped the sharp edges. It really works great and does the job. The only down side is, if you cut it, you have to do something about the sharp points- of course.

You cannot cut this stuff easily and if you do----it is NOT welded and falls apart!

This product is as advertised, and I would buy it again without hesitating.

The piece I received measures 23.5 X 11.75. It is not as rigid or robust as its picture implies. The welds which hold it together are not strong. The wire on the edges pulls off easily. Notice the wire diameter is 0.7 mm. Thats about 0.030.

The product works fine as a general screen. However, It was shipped tightly scrolled and was very difficult to get flattened out. Also, the wires going one direction are much straighter that the cross-wire weave. it was also very difficult to reform them to make the humps both ways have about the same height. Both problems are unique to my application.
