substituted a 12 gauge cord instead of the 10 gauge, on the product description it claims this is a 10 gauge cord. this is a down grade from what I purchased, looks like july of 2019 same problem reported

Easily connects a 15A extension cord to my 30A RV plug. Unlike the photo, mine has an orange plug and socket.

Works fine. Looks good and easy to use; Now we can hook up almost anywhere. I have a 50-30 amp, this 30 to 15 amp. Using both adaptors we managed to hook up and us ac for things that didnt require many amps to run.
