Greater than one weekI use these brushes for cleaning machinery and auto parts, and thought I was making a very wise decision buying these in bulk for a fraction of the price I was used to paying at the big box stores for bronze bristle brushes. Well, I got a fraction of the result -- in fact now that I think about it, probably something far worse, since the complications potentially introduced by these bristles falling apart are many. And they do, easily -- After cleaning a single gunked up set of screw threads these bristles go from bright and full of life, to a thin kind of middle age, and they leave remnants of their former glory everywhere. Never before have I felt it was my civic duty to let others know what to expect. Good luck, fellow shoppers.

> 3 dayO ordered a box of these and they meet my expectations for a quality small stainless wire brush. The plastic handles flex a bit but I have never broken one and they seem to stand up to the tasks of cleaning battery terminals or rusty bolts and threads. I use these everyday and always want to have one handy. I strongly recommend this product and economical pricing.

> 3 dayI usually get these in a 3 pack (steel, brass & nylon) at Harbor Freight but looked to see if I could get them cheaper and without the nylon brush which I rarely use. I received these and they are almost exactly like the HF ones.

> 3 dayNot sure if they are actually brass?? Appear to be gold-ish colored steel. They work okay, but the bristles bend flat a lot quicker than some of the real brass brushes I have. For the price and quantity they are worth it. If you are buying them as softer than steel brass bristle brushed, Id keep looking.
