Removing the toilet to perform the swap was much easier than expected. Its probably not practical to speak to the improved freeze survival claim, but the Beech Lane replaces the original valve perfectly (ours was destroyed by freezing). To avert future problems, I added a shutoff valve before the Beech Lane. Comes with everything you need. Good, concise instructions. Piece of cake.

Exact replacement

Fits perfect. Easy to install. Replacement for my broken Thetford valve. I was able to replace it without removing the toilet from the floor even though its backed about 6 inches from the wall. It can be done by feel and a short screwdriver if you watch a YouTube video then you have a picture in your mind where everthing connects.

Easy install considering the tight space! Really only need a short stubby Phillips screwdriver and a flat slotted screwdriver to pry up the ear holding valve in place.

This was easy to install and works as advertised.

Great fit

Our pop up trailer toilet (Thetford brand) sprung a leak right before a Memorial Day camping trip. But with one day shipping, I received this part and was able to replace the broken one in less than 10 minutes. The solid construction seems better than the original part too.
