> 24 hourI just started to tie dye and thought Id try this kit out. Pros- Love all the color choices and all the bottle and supplies. Colors are bright, easy to use. The bottles do not leak. Cons- bottles are small (which only sucks if you are coloring a large product). Even though the bottles are small, I would still purchase this again because I love the unique color variety. Check this out if you are a beginner, you wont be disappointed.

> 24 hourI got this set at Christmas and had a lot of fun tie-dying for the first time ever. I found there was lots of opportunity to experiment and be creative, but it was challenging and the results didnt always turn out as Id hoped. This set came with one tablecloth, 6 aprons, 10 gloves, one funnel, one stirring spoon, 32 powdered dyes, 32 bottles, 5 zip-lock plastic bags, 100 rubber bands, and one spray bottle. It also came with a sheet of instructions for mixing the colors and step-by-step instructions to make different tie dye patterns, and labels for the different colors to put on the bottles. My sister and I didnt use any of the suggested tie dye patterns, we just free-styled. The kit didnt come with a container or bowl to dye the shirt in. The instructions said nothing about a wire rack or what to dye your shirt on, but in the instruction pictures for making different patterns, the shirt was being dyed directly on top of the table cloth. My sister and I both used glass bowls to dye our shirts in but this didnt give enough space for dyeing and so a lot of the shirt stayed white. When I realized this, I took my shirt out of the bowl and removed one of the rubber bands to be able to get to the white spots and put it on the tablecloth to finish dyeing it. This worked but the tablecloth got dye all over it and it made a mess. I ended up throwing out the tablecloth afterwards but that wasnt so great because I might want to do more tie-dying in the future. After I completed the project I noticed the box says on the side Place fabric on a raised wire rack while dying to avoid un-wanted blending of colors. In the future I will have to put the shirts on a wire rack above a pan (to catch drips). The bottles leak and do not work well for storing. Storing is also not a good idea as the box and the instructions both say to apply the dye within 45 minutes of mixing because After 45 minutes the dye will start to lose its affect. Can result in significantly weaker color intensity. Also, please wear the gloves included! I ripped a hole in my glove finger and my entire finger got dyed blue. It took a lot of rubbing alcohol, soap, and scrubbing with a nail brush to get rid of the color, and even then I had to wait a couple days for the color to completely fade. I want to add that it is really nice that the gloves come in little brown paper packets. I got far more gloves then I needed so I can use the extras for other things. I used a lot of techniques for dying, including sprinkling dry powder on to my shirt and then misting with the spray bottle to create specks, splattering with wet dye, and when I was finished dying my shirt I put the shirt in a bag (as the instructions said) and then put a few ice cubes in (unnecessary, and as I thought afterwards- useless). I let my shirt sit overnight for the color to set in and then washed my shirt on warm with a little detergent and a few extra rinses. I dried it on an ordinary cotton normal cycle. I was a little disappointed with the result as the bright navy blue and sky blue were more gray after the wash and dry. Next time I will maybe try soaking the shirt in salt water overnight to try and keep the color better. Overall, this project was fun and enjoyable, but for beginners it is confusing and I wish the instructions were more clear. I recommend looking up a YouTube video on tie dying before starting this project if you are a beginner.

> 24 hourMy wife, the artist, enjoys doing tie dye. With the cold days of winter having set in, we tend to enjoy indoor hobbies so I ordered this MojiDecor 32 Color Tie Dye Kit, Fabric Dye Art Kit for her. She is having fun with it and reports: This tie dye kit is like a complete studio in a box. The ability to do complete coverage and detailed work is all there. There are plenty of gloves, parchment paper, and storage bags provided. Multiple bottles allow an endless platform of color range. All the creator needs to bring is imagination and water. Im very pleased with this tie dye kit and highly recommend it.
