I bought it to replace the original that came with my tv. It had been a continual source of frustration from the very beginning. This new one works way better than the original one ever did. They were definitely telling the truth. This remote works as soon as you put the batteries in. No syncing needed. Used for Magnavox Model 40ME325V/F7

After putting the batteries in it worked fine. No programming to do. Wish I had known about it sooner. Old remote stopped working but the new one is great!
