> 3 dayA pretty straightforward idea, adds to the adjustments you can make as well as the angles you can reach with the cameras.

> 3 dayI dont believe these are made to last long particularly in Texas heat. The rubberized coating on the ball has dissolved and turned to dust on both the east and west side mounts, and the plastic vise that holds the ball in place has cracked on both units so have had to replace them with the spares. One of the spares had its replacement already cracked as well. Both mounting locations are in direct sunlight for at least a few hours a day. If the vise-grip were metal this likely would not happen, but one of the cameras was just about to fall out of the visegrip. I only stopped it because I had to install the solar panel for battery recharging and immediately noticed the camera was about to fall because the grip on the rubberized ball was cracked and separating. I would not purchase this again and am looking to replace them now.

> 3 dayI used these for my Arlo cameras and they work just as expected. Theyre super easy to setup and use. I wasnt sure why this posting specified the Ring camera so much but I took a chance for my Arlos. The 1/4 mount is one of the most common sizes so this should work for other cameras too. Im sure my Amcrest cameras would also work. My recommendation is to figure out where you want it, then install it without the camera first. Once youre done installing it, you can attach the camera.

> 3 dayTheres a screw to tighten the position of the camera. If the screw is not tightened properly, the assembly will fall apart (see the picture). Theres is no fail-safe. A $100 dollar camera will break into pieces if we tighten the screw with one extra twist or one less twist.

> 3 dayGot this used and it looks brand New. The video quality is great! The battery life is amazing. Yes it does take 4-6 hours to charge the removable battery. However, it seems to last at least 3 months before you need a charge. This is way easier than dealing with wired camera systems Best Amazon deal for $79 WiFi cam

> 3 dayUsed this to mount cameras high outside my garage, and the ball joint “comes” apart when you loosen it too much, which is easy to do as it barely opens bigger than the ball. Once I discovered this on my first install, second went easier. Overall works good, just wish the ball joint didn’t “fall apart” so easily if I open it just a bit too much
