> 24 hourVery light, scary light. The charger gets the job done but I hope it lasts. The head was kind of bent out of form and it doesn’t insert all the way into the DS. But it charges, so I cannot complain.

> 24 hourTL, DR: This product is a low quality, deceptive knock-off, but at least it can charge my system. First things first: it does seem to be charging my system, so if you you are absolutely desperate for a charger, this technically meets your needs. However, for a product recommended by Amazon and sold at half the price of other options, this thing is a piece of junk. The piece of the charger that goes into the system’s port is too long, so the charger protrudes from the system needlessly. I’m terrified for anyone who knocks their system off a table while it’s plugged in, since at best, it seems like the charger would break, and at worst, it could damage the system itself. The cable is only around 3 feet long, so if you are expecting to plug in your system and use it while in bed or something, you better have an extension cord handy, or else it’s probably not happening. The plastic of the AC adapter feels cheap and low-quality. If I really tried, I could probably crack the thing open with one hand. The prongs do behave somewhat like the official Nintendo charger, but it’s obvious the quality is nowhere near the official product’s quality. The prongs are far easier to push out of position, so it may give you trouble plugging it in if you’re expecting it to lock in place as well as the official charger does. And perhaps most insulting of all is that the manufacturers clearly tried to manipulate their buyers into believing this was an official charger. How do I know? Because they printed on the AC adapter portion of the charger the circles where the Nintendo logo and seal would go, but left them empty. At a glance, and from the Amazon pictures, you may believe that the product is actually an official charger being sold at low cost and is recommended by Amazon. But although Amazon is indeed recommending this highly if you, like me, searched for “3ds charger,” this is a low-quality rip-off. If you are absolutely desperate for a charger, and are either low on money or don’t care that the charger is a cheap, terrible-quality knock-off, this product appears to fill that role. But if you want a charger that feels like you could use it for years, one you don’t have to worry about breaking, one that you don’t have to worry about damaging your system, or if you just don’t want to support bootlegging and deceptive practices, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Just bite the extra $10 and get an official one somewhere else.

> 24 hourObviously not the Nintendo-manufactured charger, a little cheaply made, but it works just the same! It was slightly dirty upon arrival as well, which seemed odd since it was described as “new.” But so far so good!
