3DS Pokemon Omega Ruby -- World Edition

The shipping was a lot faster than what I thought it was. But thought I ordered Alpha Sapphire but ended up with Omega Ruby. Either way I’m happy

While originally I believed this game may be bad due to having seen the recent attempts at remaking titles by Nintendo. I was astonished to see how faithful and well made this game was from the original sapphire and ruby titles. Being an emerald player myself it is a little different, but a great game nonetheless.

Says world version but works just like the US version. The cartridge is the US cartridge!!!

Confused by many of these reviews that give one star. I havent played a Pokémon game since red and blue. Recently, I got the itch to play and after doing some research purchased a used Nintendo 3DS XL and this game. I live in the USA and had no issues using a world edition game. Apparently, they are worth less than a US version but still manufactured by Nintendo. I chose buying a cartridge over a digital copy from the eShop because I like being able to lend, resell or gift my games when I am done with them. Also, the price is the same $39.99 on the eShop and around $40 for the hardcopy. On the first installation of the cartridge into the 3DS I was prompted with a software update. Per the attached photos I was asked to select a language and then the game played normally. So far the game has no issues and I can save and load. I havent got far but having a good time.

This is the U.A.E version of the game but its the same as the NA version. Kinda misleading. But works fine.

Worth playing for sure

Love this game! Recently I decided I wanted to replay this game and was looking around for a reasonable priced option. Found this and decided to try it out. It shipped super quickly, I ended up receiving the game less then 24 hours after I ordered it so that was definitely a plus! This is NOT a US copy of the game but it is in fact an authentic Nintendo game. At first, it being a “world edition” did worry me but it didn’t actually matter. The only difference with this game and the US copy that I can see is that before you start a new game you need to pick a language.. that’s it. I would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting to play some old Pokémon for a reasonable price.
