I bought these for my original 3DS XL and it fit perfectly in the stylus slot. Check the back of your 3DS before buying. If your DS says “*NEW* 3DS XL” or is not the “XL” version these styluses will not fit. Hope this helps!

Its been an issue finding a stylus that fits the console just right, but I finally found them. These are perfect!

This is a great stylus for the 3DS XL, I have seen a few one star reviews saying it doesnt fit, before you buy make sure you have the original 3DS XL not the New 3DS XL, you can check at the bottom of the 3DS

These do not fit in the slot for the 3ds xl. They work as plastic styluses but, it’s inconvenient that I can’t store it in the 3ds slot. If that’s what you’re looking for like me, then look elsewhere and be sure to make sure you purchase a stylus that fits the 3ds.

Wrong size, doesnt fit. Unless my new 3ds XL is some weird smaller model, these are too long by about a quarter inch. Yikes. Damned near useless, other than throwing them in the case as a backup. But I want to complete the console on the go, not the console in the case on the go.

If youre looking for stylus for the new 3ds keep going. This one does not fit into the slot at all. Cheaply made but works for touch screen anyways.

Good plastic styluses. The blue is not a match to my blue 3DS, so keep that in mind. Good for replacing lost stylus or as a backup.

Despite what the ad says these do not find the the New 3DS XL. It does work but no way to securely store the stylus. It is too long to go fully in, and even if it could there is far too much slop for it to retain grip of the stylus. You could put tape around the styles to increase the girth but it will still stick out of the system due to the length.

for context I have a 3DS XL, NOT a New 3DS XL. If you are looking for a replacement stylus for the 3DS XL this is not what you want.
